EnableComp was proud to help “feed America” though a virtual food drive and company-wide competition. Throughout the month of March (National Nutrition Month), we competed among departments to raise the most funds for Feeding America, a non-profit organization whose mission is to advance change by ensuring equitable access to nutritious food. As our footprint has expanded across the country, this year we were thrilled to grow our reach even further by partnering with Feeding America, whose network reaches every county in the United States. Together, we raised $5,363 to help our hungry neighbors!
EnableComp wrapped up 2023 with a holiday toy drive, benefitting Operation Homefront and Toys For Tots. Operation Homefront is a nationally recognized nonprofit organization that works to build strong, stable and secure military families so they can thrive – not simply struggle to get by – in our communities which they have worked so hard to protect. Through short-term financial relief and recurring family support programs, such as toy drives, organizations like these ensure long-term empowerment, self-sufficiency, and resiliency of our military families.
EnableComp was incredibly honored to support Soles4Souls through an in-person and virtual shoe drive! S4S turns unwanted shoes and clothing into opportunity, by keeping them from going to waste and putting them to good use – providing relief, creating jobs, and empowering people to break the cycle of poverty. Across each of our office locations and from our team members’ homes across the country, we donated 464 pairs of shoes and pieces of clothing and $330 in online fundraising dollars! This equals 499.25 pounds from going to landfills, 4 years of consistent, quality food, housing and education in countries like Haiti and Honduras, and created $2,596.05 of economic opportunity for families and communications around the world. Our investment in the mission transforms into opportunities so that all people – regardless of their gender, race, ethnicity, or nationality – can have access to a better life and a cleaner planet.
EnableComp went “coast to coast” in a virtual March For Babies, becoming part of the movement to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk. Every step taken – big or small – made a huge difference for the health of all families, closing the health equity gap, funding research breakthroughs, and helping families have the best possible start. Over 4 million babies benefit from March of Dimes programs every year. Together, we raised more than $650 for the cause!
