Randy Dobbs - Chief Executive Officer - EnableComp

Randy Dobbs joined EnableComp in March 2022 as the CEO of the combined company. Prior to leading the team, he served as CEO of American Vision Partners/Medical Management Resource Group, a multi-practice medical vision care industry leader. As a CEO of several billion-dollar companies, Randy is a proven leader who has successfully operated and grown businesses including Matrix Medical Network, US Investigation Services, Philips Medical System North America, and GE Capital IT Solutions. He spent 27 years at General Electric and rose to become one of the 150 corporate officers. He has also served as a senior operating executive with private equity firm Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe.

Ed Sobol is a General Partner in the Healthcare Group, having joined Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe in 2010. Before joining WCAS, he worked at Bain Capital Private Equity, beginning in 2003. Earlier in his career, he was a consultant at McKinsey & Company.

Mark Tomaino is an Operating Partner on the Healthcare team and focuses on investments in the healthcare information technology industry, having joined WCAS in 2010. He was previously Senior Vice President, Corporate Development at The TriZetto Group. Prior to joining The TriZetto Group, Mark worked at Bausch & Lomb Incorporated in a variety of legal, strategy, and business development roles.

Mike Butler is an Operating Partner on the Healthcare team, having joined WCAS in 2020. He works on investment opportunities in the health system provider space focusing on ancillary clinical & physician services, administrative & technology services, and home & community services. His focus is on commercialization and co-investment strategies with health systems & physician partners. He works with portfolio companies to define and execute their go-to-market strategies and the product growth components of their Value Maximization Plans. Mike currently serves as a Board Director for Leiters, Argos, and The Health Management Academy. Before joining WCAS, he served as president at Providence, leading strategy, operations, and innovation for the 3rd largest health system in the US.

Caroline Dechert is a Principal, having joined Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe in 2012. Prior to joining WCAS, she worked in the Healthcare Investment Banking group at Morgan Stanley.

Scott MacKenzie is the Chief Executive Officer for RevSpring, joining the company in March of 2019. He is a veteran of healthcare industry technology, with over 25 years of leadership experience in consumer engagement, analytics, payments, and digital transformation. Most recently, Scott served as CEO of M*Modal, a leading technology provider of advanced clinical documentation solutions, recently acquired by 3M. Prior to that, Scott was CEO of Passport Health Communications until its acquisition by Experian, where he served as President of Experian Health. Scott was also part of McKesson Corporation as President of RelayHealth Pharmacy Solutions. He has held executive positions at Cerner Corporation and holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and a BS from Utah State University.

John Orsini, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Northwestern Memorial HealthCare (NMHC) has proven expertise in the strategic financial management of multi-hospital health systems and brings with him more than 30 years of healthcare finance experience.  Previously, John was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Cadence Health and upon completion of the merger, became the SVP and CFO for NMHC. Prior to joining Cadence Health, John was the CFO of Presence Health and has held other various leadership positions for Scripps Health and Dignity Health. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Arizona State University, Phoenix, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.

Phil serves as managing partner of Primus Capital, a private equity firm that invests in growing healthcare and technology companies. In addition to EnableComp, Phil serves on the Board of Directors of Forte Research Systems, Medhost, Payspan, and SkillSurvey. His historical investments include AOD Software, Encore Legal Solutions, ExactCare Pharmacy, Passport Health, PathGroup, SterilMed, Universal Tax Systems, and Vendormate. Before joining Primus, Phil served in various roles at McKinsey & Company and The Boston Consulting Group. He earned a Juris Doctor from Yale Law School and a BA summa cum laude in Economics and Mathematics from Yale University.

Deborah Lafer Scher is an independent Board Director and Strategic Advisor to innovative healthcare organizations with leadership expertise in building strategic partnerships at scale to accelerate growth and impact. She most recently served as the Executive Advisor to four Cabinet Secretaries at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs across two Presidential administrations, leading the VA Secretary’s Center for Strategic Partnerships. Her team built a public/private sector partnership community of 50+ organizations and implemented $250+ million in co-developed programs. Prior to joining the VA, Deborah held leadership positions at Weill Cornell Medical Center, Dun & Bradstreet, CareOne, Walsh International, and Warburg Pincus.

Mr. Jones is the Founder and CEO of The JDJones Group and former Managing Director of Stockamp, A Huron Consulting Group Practice.  He started his healthcare career in 1986 at Andersen Consulting and went on to build a market-leading consulting company as partner and owner of Stockamp & Associates, a management consulting firm serving healthcare organizations. Throughout his career, Jones lead organizations through transformational times including Huron Consulting, Conifer Health Solutions, and the creation of Truveta, a leading healthcare data company. In 2018, he also founded The JDJones Group which serves companies across the healthcare ecosystem, leveraging Jeff’s three decades of trusted relationships in the provider, payor, and life sciences markets.
